Cost & Time to HireSolution:
Process ImprovementIn a tight labor market, a Fortune 500 Company was concerned about the increasing time to hire and its related cost. It was of course a matter of lost production with 'producer' positions sitting vacant, client 'unmet expectations' ... and the direct financial hit to the bottom line was increasingly an unacceptable exposure for Senior Management. Something ... had to be done.
At the time RMI was engaged, the client was looking at:
- A cost per hire of > $8,000.00
- A 'time to hire' of > 8 months
- An employment offer to hire ratio of < 60%
The client was just not getting the traction they needed from their current Recruitment ROI (Return On Investment).
RMI quickly engaged an HR specific Process Improvement assessment, and evaulated the client infrascturcture. Working with the client to define, develop and implement a service delivery model that met and served the business model, the client within 90 days was looking at:
- A cost per hire reduced to < $3,000.00
- A time to hire of 40 days!
- The employment offer to hire ratio was increased to > 95%
The client was served. The business model was served. The employees and shareholders were served ... and this client became an advocate of 'process Improvement' ... and RMI in particular.
