November 2010 Happenings @ RMI
Happy November to all of our Friends and Colleagues;
Hope you are well ... and life at 'Your Shop' is progressing on plan. I just wanted to check in and say "Hi" from ours. As many of you know, I try to spend as much time as I can in the mountains. Living in the Foothills of the majestic Rocky Mountains and about a 45 minute drive into Kananaskis Country ... I always (quite literally) have a pack in the back of the Jeep that allows me to retreat when schedule and weather align. I took the opportunity to do our 2011 planning on a mountain side recently, after Daniel and I had a 'Branding Day' with our partners @ Focus Design Group in Red Deer a few weeks back.
At RMI, we practice what we preach. Everything we do (everything ...) intentionally aligns with Vision Casting (where are we going) and Mission Building (how will we get there).
Planning feeds the resource requirements necessary to bridge the gap (between here & there, just like Mapquest) ... and now we know what needs to happen, by whom, when and at what cost. In doing so ... we intentionally mitigate risk. That ... makes our funding partners smile.

You may know this but the national franchise show is in Calgary this year. November 06th & 07th at the Stampede Grounds. Gotta Go! A great opportunity for scouting & networking.
